We all know that it’s hard to beat a great burger or steak, (unless of course you are a vegetarian!) and there’s no shortage of awesome restaurants in Panama City Beach that serve up the very best in American fare. But luckily for all us foodies who need to satisfy that craving for the exotic, Panama City Beach is now home to some really superb international-themed restaurants. The latest eatery to join the ever-growing eclectic list is the Marina Cantina, located in the picturesque Grand Lagoon area next to the Boatyard. This restaurant is being buzzed about all over town thanks to its authentic menu, oh-so-hip nightlife and gorgeous views from every angle.

If you are a fan of Mexican food then you’re about to take your taste buds to a whole new level of delicious. Marina Cantina’s slogan is “Real Mexican Food and Killer Margaritas” and that’s exactly what you get. Forget the standard Mexican menu – here you’ll find delectable choices such as the Tampiquena Steak (grilled marinated 11oz rib-eye steak topped with Chihuahua cheese, sautéed peppers, onions and green olives in a Tampico style sauce served with vegetables and a choice of side) and Albondigas de Cangrejo (Cantina’s homemade Spanish style crab cakes served over a bed of greens topped with mango chili slaw and chimichurri tartar).

At Marina Cantina, the atmosphere shares all the same qualities of the food – vibrant, colorful and enticing. Even if you’re not dining, it’s really a fun place to just hang out and enjoy the vibe. The restaurant has a full bar both inside and outside – plus there’s live entertainment nightly on the dockside patio overlooking Grand Lagoon. Add to that an extensive margarita and cocktail selection and you have the recipe for the perfect night out! There are so many awesome restaurants in Panama City Beach, but if you’re looking for something new and a change of pace then Marina Cantina has it covered. Muy Caliente indeed!
