Gulf World Marine Park is seeking motivated, confident individuals for our Bird Department.
Candidates must be able to perform in public presentations, which include daily demonstrations and educational lectures, be in good physical health ( ie, able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, etc) and demonstrate effective communication and observational skills.

Internship Programs:
Gulf World Marine Park has Internship programs available for College Students/College Graduates. These unique, hands-on programs require a three-month, forty hour per week commitment. Although housing is not provided, we will do our best to assist you in finding accommodations. Marine Mammal Internship: An unpaid summer internship position in which you will work with Bottlenose Dolphins, California Sea Lions and Harbor Seals on a regular basis. You will also spend time training Rough-Toothed Dolphins, as we are currently the only facility in the country that houses these animals in long-term human care. Download the Application.
Avian Internship: An unpaid summer internship position. You will develop and implement new enrichment processes, assist in training behaviors and participate in public presentations for our guests. Download the Application.
